Qa'dah 9, 1435, Sep 4, 2014, SPA -- German factory orders rebounded in July, surging at their fastest pace in more than a year amid strong foreign demand, dpa cited data released Thursday as showing. Industrial orders in Europe's biggest economy rose by 4.6 per cent after slumping 2.7 per cent in June, the Economics Ministry said. The July rise beat analysts' forecasts of a 1.5-per-cent gain. Helping to drive the monthly increase was a 6.9-per-cent jump in foreign demand. While orders from the eurozone rose 1.7 per cent, demand from non-eurozone nations bounded ahead by 9.8 per cent. Monthly domestic orders also picked up, growing by 1.7 per cent and consequently cancelling out the June fall of 1.5 per cent, the data showed.
