Saudi Ambassador to Australia, Nabil bin Mohammed Al Saleh received at the headquarters of the embassy here today Australian Undersecretary of Department of Agriculture, Rebecca Irwin and Undersecretary of the Department of Agriculture for Trade Affairs, Dr Vanessa Findlay. During the meeting, they discussed strengthening cooperation in the fields of agriculture between the two countries, and the obstacles that hinder the re-export of Australian live cattle to the Kingdom. On the occasion, Irwin stressed the importance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a trading partner for Australia in the agricultural areas, especially in the field of live sheep trade, as the Kingdom is considered as the most important markets for Australian sheep.
