British police on Tuesday found 15 people in a truck in the south-west of England and arrested a German man suspected of facilitating their illegal entry into the country, dpa reported. Police said the migrants from Eritrea and Kashmir appeared to be suffering from dehydration when they were found in the lorry at a service station in the town of Ilminster. "We received several calls earlier this afternoon raising concerns about noises coming from the back of a lorry," police said. The migrants included men, women and a 15-year-old boy, police said. "They were checked over by paramedics at the scene, but there are no ongoing concerns over their health or wellbeing and they've been provided with medical support and supplies," police added. The truck has been seized by police. In a separate incident, police in Northern Ireland made an arrest inconnection with the discovery of a dead man in a container over the weekend at Tilbury Docks in Essex, east of London. A man was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. Meet Singh Kapoor, 40, from Afghanistan, was found dead inside a container on Saturday. He was part of a group of 34 Afghan Sikhs from Kabul. The other members of the group survived the ordeal. -- SPA 19:41 LOCAL TIME 16:41 GMT تغريد
