One man dead, 34 survivors found in shipping container in Britain

One man was found dead in a shipping container at Tilbury port in Essex, along with 34 suspected immigrants, police
said Saturday, according to dpa.
The group of adults and children was found in a container that
arrived from Zeebrugge in Belgium, the Press Association reported,
after port staff heard screaming and banging from inside.
Emergency services said the survivors were taken to three hospitals
and were being treated for severe dehydration and hypothermia.
Police said they were launching a homicide investigation and that the
stowaways were believed to have come from the Indian subcontinent.
