A building under renovation in an area southeast of Johannesburg collapsed on Monday, killing eight people, AP quoted officials as saying. Another two people were missing in the accident at a housing estate in Alberton, said Luyanda Majija, a spokeswoman for emergency responders at the scene. Builders were among the casualties, according to South African media. Several men were also injured.
