Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos declared Colombia on a path to peace Thursday as he began his second four-year term in office. After being sworn in as head of state before an audience of about 2,000 people, Santos said the most important task during his new term would be to reach a peace agreement with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), dpa reported. He asked the FARC to not jeopardize the ongoing peace process that began in 2012 in Cuba.
