At least four female sanitation workers were killed and six others were wounded in an explosion in the Somali capital Mogadishu, officials said on Sunday. A spokesman for the local government told dpa the women were cleaning the streets in the Hodan district when a remotely controlled bomb hidden in a rubbish pit went off. More than eighty women have been killed in such blasts in Mogadishu since 2010.
