An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 struck on the coast of Alaska on Friday, the United States Geological Survey reported, according to Reuters. The USGS said the quake's epicentre was 55 kilometres west-northwest of Elfin Cove and 35.4 kilometres deep.
