Sharq newspaper said that Bashar Al-Assad's regime is exploiting the war being waged by Israeli occupation forces against the Gaza Strip to divert the attention of the international community, at least temporarily, from its crimes against the Syrians, which exceed the number of victims of martyrs in Gaza by hundreds of times. It explained that since the start of the recent aggression on Gaza, Al-Assad's media claimed that the Israeli aggression comes under the scheme to eliminate the axis of resistance including Iranian and Syrian regimes, Lebanese Hezbollah and other movements. The paper pointed out that the Syrian regime has caused the death of more than 120,000 people and the displacement of millions inside Syrian territory and in neighboring countries. Al-Riyadh newspaper said that "Sykes - Picot'' is repeated in scenarios which began to appear publicly, noting that its plans and decrees were signed in the seventies, stressing that the conspiracy is real, and it has found the environment to grow.
