Five Gazans were killed and others were injured by an Israeli airstrike on the Gaza Strip on Thursday dawn, pushing the number of the killed to 227 as a result of Israel's latest offensive on Gaza for the tenth day in a row, according to Palestinian sources. The sources added the victims included 49 children, 36 women and 30 old men, adding that about 1685 people were wounded by the Israeli missiles that destroyed the civilians' homes and properties as well as infrastructure and humanitarian institutions, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported. The sources added that Israeli air strikes targeted Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, Beit Lahya, Rafah, Khan Younis as well as the eastern part of the Strip, leaving five Palestinians dead, including a woman.
