The Project of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for providing iftar (breaking of fast) abroad provides more than a million free meals during the holy month of Ramadan for more than two million fasting Muslims in 41 countries in the world. The project of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for iftar for fasting Muslims abroad, which began in the month of Ramadan in 1430 H., is one of the charity projects adopted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in various countries around the world to serve millions of Muslims abroad. According to Director General for External Relations at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance Abdul Majeed bin Mohammed Al Amry, the project provides more than 35,000 daily iftar meals during the holy month. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency through a telephone call from Buenos Aires, he added that the meals are distributed in mosques and Islamic centers abroad.
