A number of Muslim world dignitaries have praised the keenness of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the unity and solidarity of the Islamic nation, cooperation of its people and institutions as well as holding conferences to tackle the challenges and problems faced by the Islamic nation and its people. They commended the initiatives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud aimed at uniting the Islamic ranks, recently topped by his call for convening the extraordinary Islamic solidarity summit in Makkah from 26-27 of the current holy month of Ramadan. They are King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan; President Abdullah Gol of Turkey; Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Bahrain's Prime Minister; Dr. Mohammed bin Ameen Al-Jeffry, Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council; Dr. Sulaiman Abalkhail, Rector of Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University; and Salman bin Mohammed Al-Amry, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance.
