Merkel leaves for three-day China visit

German Chancellor Angela Merkel left Saturday for a three-day trip to China and is accompanied by a high-level business delegation, according dpa.
Her first stop is Chengdu, the provincial capital of south-western Sichuan, where she will visit a Volkswagen plant and meet children of migrant workers.
In Beijing, she is to meet Prime Minister Li Keqiang and President Xi Jinping.
