French President Francois Hollande arrived in China on Thursday for talks that were expected to be dominated by economic cooperation. According to dpa, Hollande was scheduled to meet President Xi Jinping on Thursday afternoon before attending a signing ceremony for several bilateral contracts and issuing a joint statement with Xi, officials said. A political and business delegation of about 100 people travelled with Hollande from Paris, reports said. The French president was also scheduled to meet Premier Li Keqiang on Friday before travelling to Shanghai later in the day, French officials said.
