Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of local, regional and international issues.
A number of newspapers, Al-Riyadh, Alyoum and Alsharq, hailed Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's initiative yesterday to provide five hundred million dollars of humanitarian assistance to help Iraqis affected by the current events and the recent unrest.
The newspapers commended the positions of the kingdom towards Arab and Islamic peoples.
They noted that the United Nations will carry out the distribution of the Saudi aid to all components of the Iraqi people.
