The Palestinian foreign ministry, in a statement Thursday, strongly condemned statements made by Israeli Deputy Minister of Defense Danny Danon, in which he, along with other Israeli extremist officials, called for further escalation, oppression and brutalization of the Palestinian people. According to WAFA, the ministry said that these calls come as part of an all-out-war that is aimed at destroying Oslo Accords and the two-state solution, as well as the Judiazation of Jerusalem and continuation of blockade imposed on the Gaza strip. The ministry also condemned the escalated Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza, including the mistreatment of Palestinians by Israeli soldiers and the usurpation of the Palestinian territory. It said that it is closely following up, with ambassadors and representatives to Palestine, on this grave escalation against the Palestinian people and land as well as against the prisoners on hunger strike. The ministry stressed that it is also following up on the implications of this aggression with the Palestinians embassies abroad in order to expose the racist nature of this comprehensive aggression. It called upon all countries, particularly the United Nations and its organizations, to promptly move to stop this aggression and hold Israel accountable for its crimes.
