The Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, received here today U.S. Treasury Secretary Jacob J. Lew and his accompanying delegation. At the outset of the reception, the Prince welcomed the U.S. Treasury Secretary in his visit to the Kingdom, wishing him and the accompanying delegation a pleasant stay, stressing the importance to deepen and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. For his part, the U.S. Secretary expressed his pleasure to visit the Kingdom and meet with the Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, commending the development of relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America in all fields. During the meeting, they discussed prospects of cooperation between the two friendly countries and ways of enhancing them to achieve their common interests. The audience was attended by Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf; the Governor of Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency Dr. Fahd Al-Mubarak; Deputy Finance Minister Dr. Hamad Albazei; and U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Joseph W. Westphal.
