Member of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber Abdulhakim bin Hamad Al-Amar said that the importance of tariff exhibitions aimed at the mainstream products in the market. Al-Ammar said during a meeting with visiting Sri Lankan Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishad Bathiyutheen that holding regular meetings between businessmen of the two countries would enable them to benefit from exchanging experiences, knowledge and business partnerships that will increase the level of trade exchange between the two countries. For his part, the Sri Lankan minister called on businessmen in the Kingdom to invest in Sri Lanka's tourism sector, adding that trade relations with Saudi Arabia have seen marked improvement as the Sri Lankan exports to the Kingdom in 2013 exceeded $ 64.4 million while imports amounted to $110.6 million.
