Greece's coast guard says one of its patrol boats has rescued 29 migrants from a small vessel taking on water near the eastern Aegean island of Samos. The coast guard said the rescue on Monday morning took place inside Turkish territorial waters in bad weather conditions after the patrol boat spotted the inflatable speedboat, which it said was listing severely. Those rescued included two women and a child, AP quoted the coast guard as saying in a statement, adding that the migrants were transported to the island of Lesbos.
