Hashim shed lights on a number of the achievements of the GCC environment agencies in the past years. He underlined that GCC environment agencies managed to promote the message of environment protection across the different sections of society. The ministerial council had allocated, in its 130th session, a USD 3.9 million to develop joint GCC action to safeguard the environment, Al-Hashim said, stressing that coordination among GCC environment agencies are on the highest level. Meanwhile, EPA's Director Environmental Inspection, Monitoring & Emergencies Mohammed Al-Ahmad unveiled that Kuwait will present a proposal to the conferees to found a unified electronic gate for GCC environment affairs.
