Dr. Al-Jiffri Addresses World Summit of Legislators

Deputy Speaker of Majlis Al-Shoura Dr. Mohammed bin Amin Al-Jiffri said that greenhouse gas emissions constitute a tremendous challenge to the efforts that aim at realizing sustainable development's goals.
This came in a speech Dr. Al-Jiffri delivered yesterday evening at the three-day World Summit of Legislators currently held in Mexico City.
Dr. Al-Jiffri said that the nations and concerned bodies are responsible for addressing climate change, stressing that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is implementing a number of measures to address climate change at local level, in addition to supporting international efforts in this respect.
