Alwatan highlighted the Egyptian experience saying it reflected the people's will while Okaz called for helping Egypt in overcoming its difficulties, praising in this regard the kingdom's call for a donors' conference. On another matter, Alsharq newspaper noted U.S. Secretary of State's characterization of the elections conducted by the Al-Assad regime in Damascus as a "big zero." The newspaper noted that the characterization is nothing more than a description and will not have any impact on Al-Assad's continuation of his war against the Syrian people in the new presidential term.
