Indonesia's ambassador to Australia has returned to Canberra, a presidential spokesman said Tuesday, in a sign of thawing relations following a dispute over spying revelations, dpa reported. Jakarta recalled ambassador Nadjib Riphat Kesoema from Canberra in November after it was revealed that an Australian security agency attempted to listen in on Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's mobile phone and those of his top officials in 2009. "The ambassador has been back since Sunday," presidential spokesman Teuku Faizasyah said.
