Four people were confirmed dead on Sunday after a bus carrying Taiwanese tourists plunged into a river in southeast China's Fujian Province on Friday noon. The body of a 50-year-old man was found on Sunday afternoon in the Jiulong River in Shajian Town, Hua'an County, Xinhua reported. The accident happened at 12:30 p.m. on Friday when 26 people were on the bus, including a driver, a tour guide and 24 tourists from Taiwan, according to the county government. Nineteen people have been rescued, with three seriously injured. Eight slightly wounded tourists left hospital on Saturday. Search efforts are still under way for the three missing people. The bus was retrieved from the river at 7:10 p.m. on Friday with no bodies found inside.
