Ecuador's President Rafael Correa says he's backing a constitutional amendment that would allow him to run for re-election indefinitely. According to AP, the leftist leader's party controls congress so passage is almost assured. The measure would apply to all elected offices, but attention is on Correa, who took office in 2007 and whose term ends in 2017.
