The Security Spokesman for the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has denied a report published by London-based Al-Arab newspaper in its edition on Friday 23/05/2014, which alleged that it cited security sources as saying that a terrorist cell operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the benefit of the State of Qatar was arrested. Maj. Gen. Mansour Al-Turki has also denied the newspaper's report that the foiled terrorist cell was working through the social networking sites in accordance with a Qatari-Turkish plan and that security men arrested a number of Saudi and Qatari persons who used to receive support and guidance from abroad the Kingdom, especially from Qatar. He confirmed that the alleged report published yesterday in London-based Al-Arab daily newspaper is baseless altogether and called on it to respect the principles and charter of media work and to publish its news professionally without fabricated ones.
