Ban Ki Moon, United Nation's Secretary General, has called for immediate ceasefire and stoppage of fighting in the Malian city of Kidal. Stephen Dujarric, the spokesman of the UN Secretary General, said in a statement that Ban Ki Moon is very anxious and worried about the speedy deterioration of the situation in Kidal, condemns the killing of civilians and calls for bringing whoever commits that (crime) to justice. Dujarric added that Ban Ki Moon reiterated the call of the Security Council for prompt resumption of peace talks between the government of Mali and armed groups who signed Wagadogo agreement.
