Rabiah thanked the King of Spain for visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and described the Saudi-Spanish relations as strong and based on mutual respect. Dr. Al-Rabiah revealed a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding between the two countries, particularly the general agreement on economic, investment and technical cooperation as well as cooperation in the fields of culture and education, airspace, bilateral political consultations, and encouragement and protection of investment between the two countries, in addition to the establishment of a Saudi-Spanish infrastructure fund with a capital of $1 billion to finance a number of infrastructure projects in the Kingdom along with an agreement to avoid double taxation between the two countries.
