Laureates of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques International Prize for Translation announced 2 Riyadh

Saeed, the Secretary General of the prize, announced this year's laureates in five of the six fields of the prize.
The National Center for Translation (Egypt) and the Tunisian Complex for Science and Literature were jointly awarded the prize in the field of Efforts of Establishments and Commissions in Translation.
The prize in the field of translation on natural sciences from other languages into Arabic was shared between each of Dr. Marwan Jabr Al-Wizrah, Dr. Hassan Salman Layqa for translating the book "Disasters Medicine: Comprehensive Principles and Practices" from English into Arabic and each of Dr. Saleem Masoodi, Dr. Abdulsalam Al-Yaghfoori and Dr. Samiah Shaalal for translating the book "Functional Analysis: A study on principles and applications" from French into Arabic.
Dr. Mustafa Mohammed Gassem, Dr. Bassam Barakah and Dr. Abdulaziz Abdullah Al-Biraithen co-won the prize for each translating the book on the "Tragedy of the Superpowers Policies" from English into Arabic, the book "Philosophy of Language" from French into Arabic and the book "Encyclopedia of Loneliness Disorders" from English into Arabic respectively.
In the field of Humanitarian Sciences from Arabic into other languages, the prize went to each of late Dr. Saleh Dhahawe Al-Enzy for translating the book "History of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia", authored by Abdullah Al-Othaimeen into French, Dr. Peter Adamson and Dr. Peter Borman for co-translating the book "Al-Kindi's Philosophical Messages", authored by Abu-Yousif Yaaqoob bin Ishaq Al-Kindi into English.
In the field of Individual efforts, each of Professor Choi We Li of Chinghai University of China, who has conducted a number of translations in the field of transferring the Islamic and Arabic culture into Chinese language, and Professor Hana Lura Li Yanka, of Switzerland, who is currently the Honorary President of the Permanent International Conference for University Institutes for Translators, won the prize in recognition of their efforts to develop studies on translation, training and qualifying of translators.
The prize in the sixth and last field of physical sciences from Arabic into other languages was withheld for lack of qualified works.
