Jordanian Interior Minister Hussein Majali received here today Director of Saudi Public Security Department Maj. Gen. Othman bin Nasser Al-Mihrij. During the meeting, they discussed means of enhancing bilateral cooperation in security fields. Majali stressed the need for maintaining continued coordination between the two countries to lay out mechanisms needed to combat drug trafficking, terrorism, and crime. He also said geographic, religious and political bonds provide a common ground for the two countries to achieve common interests. For his part Al-Mihrij hailed Jordan's role in hosting a large number of Syrian refugees despite economic hardships and limited resources.
