Jordanian Interior Minister Meets with Chilean Envoy

Jordanian Interior Minister Hussein Majali met here today with Chilean Ambassador to Jordan Eduardo Escobar Marin.
During the meeting, Majali stressed the importance of capitalizing on ties and opening wider scope for cooperation between Jordan and Chile in various domains, calling for exchanging visits between law enforcement officials in both countries in order to effectively fight crimes.
The minister spoke about the regional turmoil and its repercussions on Jordan, which is hosting large numbers of Syrian refugees, Jordan News Agency reported.
