IIRO Implements New Drinking Water and Irrigation Projects in Somalia

International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO) of the Muslim World League (MWL) implemented a number of new drinking water and irrigation projects in some areas affected by a wave of drought and desertification in the north of Somalia.
IIRO Acting Secretary General Ihssan bin Saleh Al-Tayib said that the projects represented in digging about 90 wells fitted with all of its pumps, tanks and generators along with a number of dams construction.
