A car bombing in a suburb of Nigeria's capital Abuja killed 12 people, police said Friday. Nearly 20 injured people were taken to hospital in the wake of the blast late Thursday, dpa quoted police spokesman Frank Mba as saying. The attack occurred in the suburb of Nyanya opposite a bus terminal where another bomb killed dozens of people on April 14. Five vehicles were destroyed, Mba said. The site was cordoned off Friday morning and motorists driving to Abuja were restricted to a section of the road.
