At least six security personnel were killed when a suicide bomber, riding a motorbike, rammed into their bus in the garrison city of Rawalpindi Monday, police said. Over two dozens of personnel including three female army majors, wounded in the attack, were rushed to the Combined Military Hospital. The bomber struck the bus at the front gate of the National Logistics Cell (NLC) of the Pakistan Army in the R. A. Bazaar, close to the back of its General Headquarters during the morning rush hours. Police said that the blast damaged destroyed the bus and many other vehicles in the vicinity. Security forces and police cordoned off the area and collected the evidence from the spot.
