Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of local, regional and international issues. Almadinah and Okaz newspapers focused on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's assumption of power. The newspapers hailed the security, stability and national unity enjoyed by the kingdom and noted that during the previous nine years, the Saudi forign policy has been an effective policy that doesn't watch events from far away but participates in and affects them in a way or another.
