Obama Arrives in Malaysia for Three Days of Trade, Securit Talks

US President Barack Obama arrived in Malaysia Saturday for a three-day visit aimed at warming up trade and security ties with the predominantly Islamic South-East Asian country.
Obama was to proceed to the Malaysian parliament for a welcoming ceremony. He was then set to attend a dinner at the national palace, to be hosted by Malaysian King Abdul Halim.
"The good rapport between Prime Minister Najib Razak and President Barack Obama will ensure the bilateral discussions on economy, on security and on the people-to-people relations are open, constructive and productive," dpa quoted Foreign Minister Anifah Aman as saying.
