Brazil, UAE Co-sign Joint Military Cooperation Accord

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktum, United Arab Emirates Vice President, the Premier of the UAE and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai and Michel Temer, the Brazilian Vice President witnessed a ceremony for signing a joint military cooperation, under which the UAE and Brazil will exchange joint expertise, training and other areas and activities of joint defence cooperation.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, signed the agreement on behalf of UAE while Brazil's Defence Minister Celso Amorim signed for his country.
The signing ceremony was attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gargawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State, and a number of UAE and Brazilian officials.
