The Security Spokesman of the Interior Ministry stated that at two o'clock on Monday morning, and while the Border patrols at Humr Center in Al-Dair Sector in Jazan region were performing their tasks on the Saudi-Yemeni border, they came under heavy fire from unknown assailants inside Yemeni territory, which required responding to the source of fire similarly. The exchange of fire resulted in the martyrdom of first private Mohammed bin Ali Hadi Khobrani and in injuring private Mohammed bin Abdu Mohammed Al-Athiqi who is transferred to the hospital for receiving medical treatment. The spokesman said that Khobrani will be treated as martyr of duty, stressing that the competent security authorities began their missions in following up this vicious attack in coordination with the security authorities in brotherly Yemen.
