An underwater probe is to be lowered to the Indian Ocean floor to look for wreckage from a missing Malaysia Airlines jet, dpa cited officials as saying Monday. The move comes after a six-day lull in the detection of signals that could be from the voice and data recorders of the Boeing 777 that went missing five weeks ago. The probe could go down within hours, search leader Angus Houston told reporters in Perth.
