At least two paramilitary soldiers were killed in a landmine blast triggered by suspected Maoist rebels as voting in India's polls continued Thursday, dpa reported. Four soldiers were injured when insurgents targeted a police jeep in Munger district in the eastern state of Bihar, a few hours before voting began, police official SK Bhardwaj said. The group from Central Reserve Police Force were on their way to nearby Jamui district to provide security at polling booths. The local administration suspended voting at 12 polling booths in Jamui following the incident but elections went on as planned in the rest of the state, local police said.
