Arab FMs invited by Palestinian President for an extraordinary meeting to discuss Palestinian Israeli negotiations

Arab League Secretary General Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi disclosed that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has officially requested holding an extraordinary meeting for Arab League foreign ministers on the 9th of April to discuss the latest developments on the Palestinian issue file in view of Israel's rejection to release the fourth batch of Palestinian prisoners of war and the extension of negotiations proposal.
In a press conference, Al-Arabi said President Abbas, who plans to attend the meeting, has made the proposal following consultations with some Arab leaders.
He said Abbas will brief the ministers on the options left to deal with the status quo.
