Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov said on Wednesday that he had resigned, Reuters reported. Journalists summoned to government headquarters were shown Akhmetov telling a cabinet meeting that President Nursultan Nazarbayev had accepted his resignation.
