A landslide in a quarry in east China's Jiangxi Province has claimed six lives, with one other person missing, local authorities said on Sunday. The accident happened at 5 p.m. on Saturday, trapping seven workers, Xinhua quoted a statement from the provincial work safety bureau as saying. As of 11 a.m. on Sunday, it was confirmed that six miners had died in hospital. Rescue efforts are continuing for the missing worker, the statement said.
