Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, chaired here today a meeting of the higher commission of prize and grant of Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz for the studies and research on the history of the Arabian Peninsula. At the outset of the meeting, the Crown Prince stressed the importance of historical studies and expressed pleasure at the quality of works participating in the award which demonstrates awareness by Saudi researchers of the history of their country. Later, the meeting approved the names of the winners of the prize and grant.
