Prime Minister Robert Fico is conceding defeat in Slovakia's presidential runoff against independent businessman Andrej Kiska, dpa reported. Kiska was leading the vote in Saturday's second-round election with 60 per cent to the social democrat Fico's 40 per cent, with about one third of ballots counted. "Not all the votes are counted, but there is no reason to ignore the truth," Fico told reporters in Bratislava. "I congratulate Andrej Kiska, who will be the new president of Slovakia."
