The Kingdom of Bahrain today lashed out at the Muslim brotherhood organization for its threat to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, considering such threats as though pointing to its own security, stability and peace. In statements carried by the Bahraini News Agency, the country's Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa said his country is standing firmly with the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, UAE and Egypt to confront the plots of Muslim brotherhood organization. He said Bahrain considers the Muslim brotherhood's flagrant terrorist threats to the stability of Saudi Arabia, UAE and Egypt a threat to the security of Bahrain, noting that Bahrain will deal with any similar threat from the Muslim brotherhood in Bahrain in the same way it treats another threat from any other group against its security and stability. Bahrain's Foreign Minister explained that whatever touches the security and stability of the bothers in Saudi Arabia and the UAE is a direct infringement of the security and stability of Bahrain and vice versa, adding that "whoever is hostile to them is our enemy". In response to a television channel report quoting him, the Bahraini Foreign Minister said he did not say or mention in a press conference in Islamabad yesterday that the Muslim brotherhood is not a terrorist organization but what he said is that "each country is dealing with them according to their actions towards that country" with emphasis on an unified position towards them. "This is what I said and what I meant to say in Islamabad yesterday. It is a clear statement that could not be misunderstood. I'm responsible of what I said yesterday and explained again today. I'm not responsible of what the media might say or carry as misleading statements quoting me", Al Khalifa said. He went on to say that the Muslim Brotherhood is a worldwide movement sharing the same approach globally and that dealing with them is according to the law of each country in terms of the organization's commitment to any agreement between the two.
