Australia has provided a "credible lead" in the search for a missing Malaysian airliner but it needs to be checked, dpa cited Malaysia's Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein as saying Thursday. "We now have a credible lead," he told a press conference in Kuala Lumpur. "That credible lead requires to be verified and corroborated overnight." Hishammudin said four aircraft from Australia, New Zealand and the United States have been deployed to the area, while a merchant ship and an Australian navy vessel were also on the way to help in the search.
