Malaysia on Sunday sought help from more countries to locate a passenger plane that went missing more than a week ago, as police refocused on the aircraft's pilot, co-pilot and crew, the country's transport minister said Sunday. According to dpa, transportation Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said Kuala Lumpur has requested satellite data, primary and second radar playback and provisions for ground, sea and aerial search from countries along two possible flight paths that the missing jet could have taken. "The search was already a highly complex, multinational effort. It has now become even more difficult," he said in a press conference. "From focusing mainly on shallow seas, we are now looking at large tracts of land, crossing 11 countries, as well as deep and remote oceans." He said a total of 25 countries were now involved in the search for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, which went missing on March 8 with 239 people on board after it took off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport before dawn on the way to Beijing.
