Tunisian President Al-Munsef Al-Marzooqi met here today with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov who is currently visiting Tunisia. A statement by the Presidential palace said the meeting focused on ways of enhancing bilateral relations in all fields and reviewed the progress of the transitional path in Tunisia. In press remarks following the meeting, Lavrov said he agreed with the Tunisian President on further deepening political consultation and enhancing economic, commercial, cultural and tourism cooperation between Tunisia and Russia.
