Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), met at his office in Riyadh today with the Director General of the International Labor Organization Guy Ryder, who is currently visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, ways of enhancing cooperation between the GCC countries and ILO were discussed and view points on the role of ILO in matters relating to the social and economic development in the GCC states were exchanged. The meeting was attended by the Assistant Secretary General of the GCC for Human and Environmental Affairs Dr. Abdullah Al-Hashem, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ahmed Al-Humaidan and the accompanying delegation of ILO senior official.
